...or, conversely, do you think this report will continue to be misquoted and misrepresented, as what happened and continues to happen with Climategate? As several askers and answerers here have displayed over the past day or two, the recent ICA report on their investigation of the IPCC has been misrepresented as a blow to the IPCC's credibility, and also the science behind global warming and climate change (an odd extrapolation, considering the IPCC does not do their possess research). In reality, this is more along the lines of what has been concluded: "The Committee concludes that the IPCC assessment process has been successful overall and has served society well. The commitment of many thousands of the world’s leading scientists and other experts to the assessment process and to the communication of the nature of our understanding of the changing climate, its impacts, and possible adaptation and mitigation strategies is a considerable achievement in its possess right. Similarly, the sustained commitment of governments to the process and their buy-in to the results is a mark of a successful assessment. Through its unique partnership between scientists and governments, the IPCC has heightened public awareness of climate change, raised the level of scientific debate, and influenced the science agendas of many nations. However, despite these successes, some fundamental changes to the process and the management structure are essential, as discussed in this report and summarized below." The report then proceeds to summarize the recommendations for several topics of management, conflict of interest policies, data assessment procedures, so on. What is not stated is that the IPCC is untrustworthy, overly political, gives faulty science (except in specific instances where mistakes, such as in AR4, were pointed out), or has scammed people. http://reviewipcc.interacademycouncil.net/report/Chapter%205%20-%20Conclusions.pdf The below link is to the Report News Release. You will similarly find a lack of "damning" conclusions: http://reviewipcc.interacademycouncil.net/ReportNewsRelease.html So, again, how long do you think that the IAC's report will be taken out of context/misrepresented, if it will ever cease? I'm sorry, I wrote "ICA" at some parts - my bad, those should read "IAC." Sir Offenzalot: While it's off topic, the upper atmosphere was not predicted to warm due to global warming. There are two main factors in the cooling of the upper atmosphere: decrease in ozone and a decrease in the amount of outgoing long wave radiation (due to an enhanced greenhouse effect). The concepts are explained well here: http://www.atmosphere.mpg.de/enid/20c.html http://www.ufa.cas.cz/html/climaero/topics/global_change_science.pdf And David, please try to understand the fundamental difference between "has a different take" and "takes things out of context."
I encountered many people who flaunt and boast their success , achievements and possessions . Obviously they are intelligent to reach that level of success but why are they not aware of the fact that they put people off with their bragging ? And that some people night think they have low self esteem and worth ? They seem to have high self esteem. Is the research study that says braggarts have low self esteem accurate ?
what I learned off wikipedia- yes I spend every my free time reading about science, history and geography on wikipedia, they would sit down and have hours to chat with me about stuff i've learned. I've even consulted TWO mental health specialists and both of them has told me on numerous occasions that my emotional outbreaks and stuttering AREN'T MY FAULT, and told my parents that they should be more open with me. But they would say that these doctors are not professionals, and that they are wrong (WHAT!!!!)It became so extreme that my uncle moved away with his family without telling us where or giving us a phone number so that "he and his wife and kids would not be affected by my parent's maniac personalities." So now, they started to "change", and strive for physical success- more exercising, instead of academic achievement. They've also yelled at me many times and call me "as stubborn as a mule"- (I don't even know why). But since I'm in full AP in high school and don't have a lot of free time, they don't believe me when I've told them that I am not that good physically because ever since I was little, they've only strived for academics and nothing else. I've also quoted many studies saying that the way you lift a kids from birth to aadolescenceis most likely their personality later in life, and that it would be extremely difficult for me to change (especially with their closed and stubborn attitude still the same), but they would again say that studies are wrong. THEY JUST DON'T WANT TO ADMIT THAT THEY HAVE BEEN AND STILL ARE, BAD PARENTS! And now, I've been having bouts of uncontrolled anger, and studies show that that is the result of couped up emotions, eespecially with teen hormones over the roof, but my parents would walk away or simply not hear, or threaten to clip my Internet and sell my computer because I wasn't using it for "academic purposes as intended." I've never been able to talk to my parents about ANYHING that relates to my feelings or emotions, and I am having serious sucidal thoughts- my parents don't believe that when I tell them, and they even said that THEY DIDN'T CARE IF I DIED OR NOT SO I SHOULDN'T TRY IT. every my uncles and relax of my relatives have pledged to help me, but even with almost daily confrontations, nothing worked. My parents have even forbidden me to contact an aunt who had a long and noisy/screaming confrontation with my dad about his ways. My grandparents are planning/prepping for a serious talk with my parents as well, but I've told them not to bother, because if ten years of talks as well as meetings with two different doctors didn't work, nothing would. I am now having servere bouts of depression and don't know what to do. I can't tell guidance or a teacher or else they might have to talk to my parents eventually. I'VE LOST every MOTIVATION FOR LIFE AND I JUST WANT TO DIE NOW! HELP! I'VE BEEN SPENDING THE LAST WEEK OF SUMMER VACATION JUST SLEEPING every DAY BECAUSE I AM SO DEPRESSED! By the way, part 1 is here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AgBr2qe5cj6tlrxofzCoVYXty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20100901083803AAAl5Bc Do I do what I think is best and just ignore him when I think he's being irrational? Or do I just stay meek and opressed below this totalitarian rule of his until college?
1.) Read the following passage carefully before you pick your answers. The passage below is from Elizabeth’s speech to her last Parliament in 1601. 1 To be a King, and wear a Crown, is a thing more glorious to them that look it, than it is pleasant to them that bear it: for my self, I never was so much enticed with the glorious name of a King, or the royal authority of a Queen, as delighted that God hath made me His Instrument to maintain his Truth and Glory, and to defend his Kingdom from dishonor, damage, tyranny, and oppression. 2 But should I ascribe any of these things unto my self, or my sexly weakness, I were not worthy to live, and of every most unworthy of the mercies I have received at Gods hands, but to God only and wholly every is given and ascribed. 3 The cares and troubles of a Crown I cannot more fitly resemble than to the drugs of a learned physician, perfumed with some aromatical savour, or to bitter pills gilded over, by which they are made more acceptable or less offensive, which indeed are bitter and unpleasant to take, and for my possess part, were it not for conscience sake to discharge the duty that God hath laid upon me, 4 and to maintain His glory and keep you in safety, in mine possess disposition I should be willing to resign the place I hold to any other, and glad to be freed of the glory with the labors, for it is not my desire to live nor to reign longer than my life and reign shall be for your good. 5 And though you have had and may have many mightier and wiser Princes sitting in this Seat, yet you never had nor shall have any that will adore you better. 6 Thus Mr. Speaker, I commend me to your loyal loves, and yours to my best care and your further councels, and I pray you Mr. Controller, and Mr. Secretary, and you of my Councell, that before these Gentlemen depart unto their countries, you bring them every to kiss my hand. The point of Elizabeth’s statement that to wear a crown "is a thing more glorious to them that look it, than it is pleasant to them that bear it" (part 1) is to emphasize the burdensome responsibilities of her position. assert that she is fulfilled and glad in ruling her people. suggest that it is difficult to look upon power without being dazzled. reveal the foreknowledge she has of the treachery and betrayal. refute the charges of those who think she is weak. 2.) 2. By using the word "Instrument" (part 1), Elizabeth specifically emphasizes her obedience to God's will. her political power as the monarch. her resolve to discharge her duties in a regal manner. her ambition to surpass the achievements of her predecessors. the equality of men and women in God's eyes. 3.) In part 1, Elizabeth contrasts what she sees as the source of true delight with religious devotion. exalted earthly power. the evils that can befall a kingdom. her possess weakness of character. her political and diplomatic skills. 4.) Elizabeth asserts that she would not be "worthy to live" (part 2) if she were to be less imperious than certain male rulers. fail to take responsibility for every her actions. take personal credit for her success as a ruler. fail to maintain the outward appearances of royalty. show mercy to the enemies of her kingdom. 5.) As controlled by context, the phrase "fitly resemble" (part 3) is best understood to mean precisely describe truthfully talk justly assume accurately compare
Please tell me I am right when I say Michael Jackson shouldn't even be COMPARED to Justin Bieber. He is and will always remain as the King of Pop, and the greatest entertainer of every-TIME. For the little girls who say Justin Bieber will take over his title as King of Pop, let me ask you this: Does he have the best selling album of every-TIME? Does he have 19 Grammys, the Grammy Life Achievement Award, and the Grammy Legend award? Has he been named Artist of the "Decade", "Generation", "Century", and "Millennium"? Does he have more Guinness Awards than any other Artist? Is he credited for making MTV a success? Has he sold over 800 million albums WORLDWIDE? Does he support 39 charities? DOES HE EVEN GIVE TO CHARITY? Has he won hundreds of awards and named the MOST AWARDED ARTIST OF every TIME? Does he have any Signature dancing moves? ENOUGH SAID!!! RIP MICHAEL JACKSON <333 ***AGREED*** What I mentioned is not even close to what he did.' Sorry people but I do feel strongly about this topic since everyone is saying he is the next King of Pop. Its unhappy that most of this new generation doesnt know what REAL music is and what a legend really is

Okay, so I have been heavy smoker (10-15 cones a day, sometimes less sometimes more) for as long as I can remember. After having considerable psychological distortion and changed perceptions of the world, as well as the obvious impact it must've been having on my health, I made the decision to quit. It is however, much more difficult than I first would've considered. I have not smoked for 2 days now (a considerable achievement for myself) and am having huge cravings now, not in the sense that I can't help myself but as in several personal mitigating factors have caused stress and yes, the obvious answer here is 'escape'. However, I have an exam on thursday and am relatively sick-prepared BUT am cramming like a mofo. What I wish to know or seek advice about, is whether smoking tonight would have any impact in terms of my short-term memory, whether it is a bad idea (I know it certainly isn't a good one, so please do not point out of the obvious), and what the potential ramifications would be? Also in terms of my ability to quit at a later date. Everyone I have spoken to, my psychs, friends, family have suggested moderation and then quitting as a means for success, while others have suggested immediate cessation, which I am finding/found very difficult. Please tell me, realistically, whether it would be 'ok' to smoke tonight, let me tell you I bloody well need it! Thanks Thanks for the advice, believe me I know that it will break the cycle lol. I can assure you however, that this will have no impact in terms of my quitting as tomorrow night is night before my exam so I WON'T be smoking then anyway... I understand your problem as well, cravings are inevitable and powerful. It is possible for me to do this, but it is a question of desire- in which case (although it has already slightly been addressed) what would be any impacts of information recall, memory and study of what I have done/will do tomorrow. Also, I am not/was not planning on doing anymore study now, my brainspace is zero and that's why I wanted to toke up in the first place!! So, if you could help me in that regard it would be great. Thanks
I mean...it's a good thing to have Pride in yourself. It means "satisfaction with your (or another's) achievements; "he takes pride in his son's success" " Basically it means you're not Depressed. I have Pride in myself about my Achievements in life. So why exactly is it a sin? Same goes for Lust. I have Lust for my Girlfriend, she's my lover and if I didn't have Lust for her...well Lust is part of adore. And then also, how do you think different Species survive? Without Lust, the world would just fall apart, Species would go Extinct because none of them would have interest in Sex or each other.... So why are they sins? @Elder Ookdork - Umm say anything if you're not going to answer my question.... @LOLz - I think you should look up the definitions of Lust and Pride...because Pride means more to feel good about yourself. And same goes for Lust....

Prologue: Dr. Geraldine Cooper had dedicated her entire life to this project. Finally it would be perfected. This was her moment. She smiled as the final drops of the chemical she had been working on for years fell into the syringe. The tiny mice she had been testing this project on ran in their wheel on the desk beside her. These mice were not ordinary mice, not after Dr. Cooper had finished them. They ran in their wheel at extraordinary speed. Other techs in the lab called them Flash Rodents, like the superhero Flash. At first she hated the nickname for her amazing accomplishment. They were the first creatures on the entire planet to move faster than light, and they were degraded to the name of a comic book character? But it did not matter now, today was her day to show everyone exactly how powerful Geraldine Cooper could be. Today she was a god. She pulled the plastic cover off the syringe and moved to the cage beside her Flash Rodents. Inside was a man. He was curled in the back of his little prison, shaking with fear. As she stepped towards him he pulled himself farther away from the cage door. “Please don’t make this difficult on me… it is just a shot, think of it as a booster. It can make you special. You are just a convict, a piece of trash discarded by people who do not know what to do with you. But I look potential in you…arrive closer to me.” He leaned away from her hand, and stared into her eyes as if he was determining if she could be trusted. Slowly he reached for her outstretched arm. Dr. Cooper impatiently pulled his arm up to her chest and injected the relax of her serum into his arm. Her gaze remained fixed on her new subject. Beside her was Jason, an intern who did every of her “dirty work.” He was the one who found every of her equipment and test subjects. His pen scratched notes eagerly. The subject was still, unsure of exactly what had just happened to him. Then the room began to grow colder, and colder. The water bottle that the mice drank froze solid, right before her very eyes! Dr. Cooper beamed at her success. As she turned to leave the room so that she could show everyone her latest achievement, there was a noisy accident. Abruptly she turned to look what was wrong. The subject was seizing. Jason pulled out a needle that had been in his lab coat and stuck it into the subject. The seizure stopped but it was no longer breathing. Her subject was dead. “What happened? I thought everything was completed. My work was flawless!” She turned to Jason who stared at her, trying to respond without angering her anymore than she already was. “I…I...don’t know.” He could look the doctor’s eyes cloud with anger. “What if it wasn’t …what we… I mean you… didn’t do anything wrong. What if it was the subject? I mean he didn’t become quick, he made things icy so obviously he reacted different…to the….um…substance.” Dr. Cooper stared at Jason angrily… it almost burned a hole through his head. “What could have been wrong with the subject that you retrieved for me? It had no health issues. Unless you lied to me Jason…” She stepped towards her assistant who cowered away instinctively. Usually she would have slapped him by now. “Well every of the…the mice… were um…um… not yet adults…they were what people would consider …teenagers?” “Teenagers? Well of course that makes sense. The subject was an adult, fully developed, but the mice were just three fourths grown!” She began to pace across the concrete floor, her heels clickity-clacking to a constant rhythm. “But how would I receive teenagers. People would notice if they were gone.” “Good point. Maybe we should just move on to a new experiment. Or redo the formula” “Start over on work that I have already wasted years of my time on… I don’t think so! We can receive teenagers. Don’t high schools use the lab for field trips?” “Yeah there is a tour next Monday…but um…” “Spit it out Jason,” Dr. Cooper said between clenched teeth. Of every the things she hated about this intern it was his stutter and constant use of the word um. Countless times she had slapped him and for a few months she sprayed him in the face with water every time he used that annoying word. “How can we experiment on a high school student. If they were to experience similar side effects as or subject here we would receive into…um…lots…of…t…t…trouble. “Well Jason there isn’t going to be any trouble. Research the students that will be coming. Select some of the students with needy backgrounds. Find kids with little to no family or something like that.” “What do I do after I find those students?” The doctor gazed into her trusted intern’s eyes. “When they arrive here there is going to be a little…accident at our next tour. I suggest you receive to work.” “Yes ma’am….” Jason rushed out of the room and began the background checks of the students at the next visiting high school… Roosevelt High.
I'm 17,male and and in the same college as someone I am very jealous of who is better than me at everything that makes at every my hobbies and things I take pride in being good at.We used to be friends but I fell out with him because he's an A'Hole and he always gloated about his achievements/success and I just can't stand him anymore. Self-motivated, Incredible people person, exceptional service skills, ability to demonstrate your strategic approach towards achievement and success whilst delivering results etc.. And what if I'm just a normal person? Am I doomed to be unemployed for my whole life? These job descriptions are ridiculous. Even cleaner positions require something similar.
I'm 15 and in Year 10, I currently live in Australia and my family is considering about a move soon to the US (possibly around New Year). You don't need to tell about the migration process, we're sponsored and if we offer the deal, we'll be able to move. I at least know there's a different learning system in every country, and I would like to know as much as possible the difference between Australia and America's learning systems. 1. Tell me about school (So there's elementary, high school and college, right? And then University?) 2. Are students ahead in Maths? (I'm just so curious) 3. How often are students given assignments/exams? 4. Do you have anything similar to a School Certificate? (The School Certificate is awarded to eligible students at the end of Year 10. It prepares students for success in HSC study, training and apprenticeships or in the workplace. It also provides a detailed picture of a student’s strengths and achievements at the end of Year 10 of schooling. - Board of Studies website) 5. Instead of HSC, American students do the SAT? (HSC is Higher School Certificate. Similar to SC but it is the completion of senior year) 6. In Australia, I start my new year (e.g. Year 10) and finish the end of it at the end of the year. You have what you call something mid-term? You start your new year half through the year...and then you're given a break during New Year for some time, then you resume to the same year? (sorry that sounded confusing. but just read it a few more times) 7. I'm in Year 10 currently, will I most likely enter Year 11 or repeat Year 10 again when the year starts? 8. You have a long school holiday called summer break? Tell me about school holidays and if there are any other breaks during the year. 9. Do you receive to pick any subjects you want to learn? Or does it depend on which year you are in? Tell me in general what America is like. I'll most likely move to Houston, what are the students like over there? Thanks. WHEW! That's a lot to ask but anser the ones you can, much appreciated.
When you look at pre-treachery Arnold, what you find is an almost comical beacon of good old-fashioned American virtue. Somewhere around here his wife died, but he soldiered on, masterminding the strategic invasion of Quebec, where he held position for weeks despite being clip off from the relax of the army and shot in the leg. The true definition of achievement, I think, is for someone to have a good social effect by doing what he/she is good at and desires to do. Since I was in middle school, I had a strong will to contribute in making the word "We are the One" a reality. I believe I have potentials in English and writing and I like learning them. Therefore, I want to use my abilities to "truly" success; to achieve my dream and doing what I can for the world. Whenever I ask myself about ways I can achieve my dream with what I have, the answer always comes out with "translating".
i recently came to know of some of the principles in sufism.and the most notable, and perhaps most significant aspect of it tht pertains to myself i believe is regarding pride and vanity.after learning how sufism views this topic ive arrive to terms tht ive been terribly neglecting the importance of humbleness in life.it became apparent tht things tht may seem common self esteem, self pride suppliments are indeed acts of vanity and insolence towards Allah.often we attribute our successes and achievements to difficult work, often we think our faith, ibadah is sufficient, more than others.often we forget tht Allah is the sole provider of every.frm the clothes tht we wear,to our positive qualities and even to our piety and faith, every came from Allah alone.with tht being said, what we should feel for ourself is nothing but humility, weakness, dependency in the lights of Allah.any form of pride and vanity thus would jeopardize our full submission towards Allah.. however achieving this state of mind is indeed arduous for myself.sometimes realizing tht i felt proud makes me feel mad.angry for the fact tht i knw im not supposed to feel proud but instead i should feel thankful.ive tried being practical about this too.for instance things tht i usually take pride in,things im notably good at,i try to hide from others and even try to make it appear as if im nt credible.but at the end of it every i still feel proud because of i know what im credible of doing.this may sound confusing but what im trying to point out is this impossible problem of mine to rid myself of pride and vanity.can brothers and sisters out there help me out here?point out what should be done.im just so lost right now
Prologue: Dr.

"Tang Jun, the president and CEO of Xinhaudu Groups, Prominent Former Microsoft Corp, also known as Employee Emperor in China, got trapped into a credit crisis by allegedly fabricating his Educational certificate, which instigates a fierce debate and reflection over the so-called social elites’ career credit among the Chinese". Just like in the case of Tang Jun, the former President of Microsoft’s China operation, who seemed to embody the ideal of a successful, globally minded Chinese businessman, Cecilia Lee the Marketing Director of HOK operation in Beijing, China since 2005 titans academic achievements were significantly embellished However, unlike in the case of Tang Jun, which at least he obtained a real Master Degree, Cecelia Lee has graduated from NO university in the Western Hemisphere and possesses no degree in economics, finance, and architecture or in law as she claims. Her claims of fame of earning dual Master’s Degrees, one of which, she obtained from Thunderbird School of Global Management, a private business school in the United States, and the first and oldest graduate school specializing in international management and global business and the second Master Degree from Arizona State University are fraudulent and fabricated at best. In response to subpoenas court order probing into her education background of Cecilia Lee that was issue by Thunderbird School of Global Management in July 10, 2008, Thunderbird represented that once upon a time in America Cecilia Lee has taken total of 15 curses of prerequisite-classes and the total number credit collected disqualifying her from graduation; Furthermore, in response to subpoenas court order probing into her education background of Cecilia Lee that was issue by Arizona State University on July 11, 2008 indicating that once upon a time in America Cecilia Lee has taken total of 3 curses of prerequisite-classes for Master Degree Cecilia Lee: A daughter of Chinese Scholars Committing Academic Fraud Known to the Western World as Cecilia Lee was born in the Northern part of China in 1969 below the name Xiaoxi Li. Ironically, Cecilia Lee was born to well educated family and she grow up in Beijing Jiaotong University, where her dad Professor Li Gen Cheng is teaching civil infrastructure and her mom Professor Cheng Gui Hua teaching architecture according to Cecilia. Cecilia Lee got married at least twice and divorced twice. Cecelia Lee claims to be graduated student with Highway Engineering Degree from Tongji University in Shanghai, China. However, her Diploma submitted to Thunderbird is demonstrating that she has graduated from the Foreign Language Institute in Beijing. Cecilia Lee for the past 5 and a half years has obtained numerous recognitions for her fabricated accomplishments including the recognition for Women in Business in China, which aims at empowering and recognizing women for their business successes and has been participating in national forums and in other public events on behalf of HOK introducing her fraudulent background
Yes, there is a difference between achievement and success and this Q is precisely for you to consider that for deciding which of the two you would prefer.

I absolutely adore my fiance and I will forever, but I just want to receive your opinion on this before I talk to her about it. We've been dating for 3 years and I always thought of this quality about her. But she was generous and caring which may have set it off. thinking about it, she still has a lot of the signs. I still look them to this day though she's pregnant. My fiance arguments are always spoken about no matter how wrong she is. She will battle it for as long as she wants. And times she leaves the room and runs out screaming "I'm right, you're wrong, like always!" She also needs me to constantly assure her about her looks and will actually receive mad when others don't compliment her. She also this huge idea of being considered so beautiful and having a lot of power and authority over others. She also constantly stops and looks at herself in EVERY mirror we pass in any place at every, including our and other people's houses. Also, no matter how big your problem is she will try to change the subject to herself. One time some lady was talking about her home being robbed and she strived change the subject to herself and her cheerleading success. Which brings me to my next point of constantly boasting about her achievements of cheerleading and her college career. She also has some weird delusion about how the world lives to make her glad and that her needs arrive before every single other. I think the only quality she lacks is carelessness for others. She may think at times she comes first, but she does hear to others. I adore my fiance and I will adore to marry her but I really think this is an important thing and I want to know if this proves she is.
When you look at pre-treachery Arnold, what you find is an almost comical beacon of good old-fashioned American virtue. After his mom died, he single-handedly supported his sister and suicidally abusive alcoholic dad; he enlisted to battle off a French invasion when he was 15; he grew up to be a successful capitalist and family man. Then there was his record during the revolution. He planned and led the famous siege of Fort Ticonderoga. Somewhere around here his wife died, but he soldiered on, masterminding the strategic invasion of Quebec, where he held position for weeks despite being clip off from the relax of the army and shot in the leg. He held back the British at Lake Champlain, he was instrumental in the Danbury raid, he was essential to the success of the Battle of Saratoga. The army must have loved this guy, right? Wait, instead they repeatedly passed him over for promotion with younger, less experienced men? And other officers took credit for his achievements? And he was investigated by congress on baseless accusations of corruption? Basically, after every his bravery, sacrifice and bullet holes, America seemed to develop a great passion for kicking Arnold in the gut. It didn't help that at the same time they were creating an alliance with France, the bad guys from Arnold's teenage war adventures. below those conditions, it's understandable that he'd quit the team. Also his second wife and her family were Tory sympathizers. So they probably influenced his turning coat. People may have had more respect for him if, rather than being sneaky about it, he'd yelled "**** you every, I'm with England now" as he rode off giving everyone the rudest gesture of the times. It's the betrayal that irks people. But hey, America, you started it.

Hello. Could someone help me to correct briefly the falts of my essay. English is not my native language. Thanks in advance!! What is your idea of success ?(250 words) Every person has his possess definition of success because every person has his objectivs in life. Having a good job, a big home, or a wonderfull family are just some examples of that people might consider like a success. In brief, a success can be defined as the achievement and the obtention of that the person is seeking. Personally, I define the success in life not by material things like cars, houses, expensive things and son on…but by the values of the person. I think that the real success is the improving quality of life of our relatives, that is to say family, neighboorhoud, collegues, humanity in general. I would compare the scientists who consacres his every life to find a molecule in the human body, seeking to care some disease and an PDG of some war equipement factory. The first on might consider his job better than the job of PDG, because of the prestigious aim of his work, despite that the fact the PDG has a lot of money and is wealthy. Personally, I think that the second one doesn’t success. I also define the success by being an intelligent person who understand the world around him, the political issue of the planet, the diplomatic chessboard of the world, economic situation and acting in the society in order ti improve it, respecting his possess values and having responsabilities. To summarize, I don’t define the success by the things that have been gotten by people because every of these can be lost, but by the self-construction and the values of the person which couldn’t be easily lost.

Furthermore, we also got the ground proof that Cecelia Lee fabricate her bachelor degree. In her online bio , she claims to be graduated student with Highway Engineering Degree from Tongji University in Shanghai. HOWEVER, her Diploma submitted to Thunderbird is demonstrating that she has graduated from the Foreign Language Institute in Beijing. In Cecilia Lee’s fraud case, which is substantially similar in nature to the fraud, which was committed by Tang Jun, the former President of Microsoft’s China operation. However, it is completely unique story, due to the fact that not like in the case of Microsoft or in the case Shanda, the most recent employer of Tang Jun, where both of the organizations claimed that they did not know about Tang Jun’ fraud. In the case of HOK which is the equivalent of Microsoft to the architecture, interiors, engineering, planning business know that their senior executive is committing fraud and misrepresentations online as well as in public forums and most importantly to their clients about who she is and what she has done in life as well as about her educational background and they have done not much if any to cease it, which encourages Cecilia Lee become more dauntless to embellish her credentials and working history with fraud. Governance is preached and breached at HOK. For the past 5 and a half years Cecilia Lee has obtained numerous recognitions for her fabricated accomplishments including the recognition for Women in Business in China, which aims at empowering and recognizing women for their business successes and has been participating in national forums and in other public events on behalf of HOK introducing her fraudulent credential background . Indeed, Cecilia Lee successes in her fraud, however, the fact is if HOK can be a little responsible for the clients, for the public and for the society; if Cecilia Lee’s falsification credential fraud did concern HOK, then Cecilia Lee will not have the opportunity to commit credential fraud. Cecilia Lee: A Daughter of Chinese Scholars Committing Academic Fraud Known to the Western World as Cecilia Lee was born in the Northern part of China in 1969 below the name Xiaoxi Li. Ms. Cecilia Lee got married at least twice and divorced twice.
Samantha’s NROTC Essay Samantha’s NROTC Essay “The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person’s determination and ability to work together as a team.” every my life I have wanted to be the person who is a positive influence on people. I want to be the person that others look up to. I arrive from a hardworking family who believes in teaching their kids respect, discipline, and earning what you deserve. I was taught to take responsibility for everything I do and figure out what I need to do in order to accomplish it. My goals in wanting to become a naval officer are to serve my country, be a positive influence, and build a career. I want to serve my country because it has given me every the opportunities I have been fortunate to have. America is the greatest country to live in because it stands for democracy, human achievement, and freedom. That freedom is why millions of soldiers are serving. An estimated 54,000 are women serving in the Navy and only a little over 8000 are female officers. I would be honored to be apart of that statistic. I arrive from a long background of family members who have served in the Navy. My Grandfather was a 1st class B.T. and later on went back to school to become a 2nd class diver. My Aunt Christine was a 2nd class A.G., and my cousin Alex was a 2nd class F.C., a technician for tomahawk cruise missiles. My brother served in the Armed Forces. They have told me first hand the amount of pride they feel serving their country. With my family relations and honor in serving in the Navy combined with my passion for higher learning, applying to be a naval officer is the obvious and right path I want to be on. Raised as a catholic, I guide a life full of morals and gratitude towards God. I believe God leads one to where they need to be, but it is up to that person to decide how they are going to overcome obstacles and become the leader people need. Being a team member on Joliet Junior College’s softball team and being captain of the Lincoln-Way Rugby team has taught me commitment, self discipline and duty to my team. The physically demanding effort was expected from every player. It taught one to be strong and completely non greedy. I have to be mindful of my teammates and responsible for the actions I take. I understand when punishment is necessary and awards are deserved. The saying “There is no I in team” really embellishes the idea behind striving towards a beneficiary goal that takes contribution from every player. To guide a life of posterity you have to learn how to work with others and show leadership, which is only some of the empowering qualities in a naval officer. I can prove myself worthy of that title. Navy officers are excellent demonstrations of success. They demonstrate the importance of difficult work, pride, and intelligence. Being a naval officer would make me want to be nothing but positive for others and prove to people that with enough heart and desire, you can rise over prejudice and people telling you to settle with what you have. Serving your country is not an option to me, it is necessary. I have demonstrated serving my country during my life by donating clothes to a local thrift, being a donor, or tutoring at my school. These tiny acts of positive influence guide me to find greater ways to serve my country and the best answer to that is being accepted and becoming a naval officer. Building a career as a naval officer is high on my list and something I dream about. After learning about the endless amounts of benefits you receive, none of those compare to the amount of satisfaction and honor you feel towards you country and helping to better serve it. My intentions in writing this essay are to demonstrate the proper actions necessary to start the relax of my life. I adore learning and have taken many courses at the Joliet Junior College, specifically in the science field. My passion in learning and helping people made choosing a career in medicine another obvious choice, and being a Navy health care officer a more refined choice. Unfortunately there are many people in this world that are good with words and know how to say what you want to hear, but real people take those words and put them into actions. They prove that they really want to strive to be a better, more positive person, and become the officer that the Navy needs. They become efficient, committed and loyal to the country that has given not just them but every one of their citizens a chance to grow. Everything I have stated in this essay comes from the heart, because in my heart this is what I want.
constructive...I also look direct evidence and proof of this everyday as I must deal with the public at work... Now I want to ask everyone? Where is this mentality coming from? There is an answer that is as plain as day...I'll give you a hint: A certain political party is responsible...Think about what the differences are between the two major parties and then make an educated guess as to who it could be... In other words, one party shouts from the mountain tops the importance of difficult work, constructive activities, achievement and success and the other preaches entitlements and someone owes you something...Who could this party be that does this to our youth?
I know you've gotta do that puppet show, ive already done that, gotten every three endings while signed in to xbox.com. It told me that it would be available when i sign in to xbox live while playing, and from what i can tell, the chicken suit, hero doll, expression book and dye should be accessible in the chest but when i try to open it, while signed in, it tells me to check out the content on www.fable2.com. I did go back to try it again, but to no success, the puppet show seemed to recognise that ive already completed it. can anyone help me as im trying to receive the achievement that requires the chicken suit? On August 16, Jupiter in high-vitality Aries runs into an opposition with sensible Saturn in Libra positioned exactly across the zodiac. These two powerhouse planets are polar opposites. Jupiter is the idealist of the zodiac -- the visionary whose eternal optimism makes us feel good. Saturn gives structure, common sense, discipline and emphasizes that real achievements are only produced after careful preparation and planning. Jupiter does not like to keep its heavy feet firmly on the ground, and Saturn hates over optimism -- so be prepared for your moods to fluctuate and look-saw. This the push-tug energies of this opposition give rise to self-doubt -- emotions will fluctuate between knowing what we are worth and having grave doubts of the value we bring to the world as a whole. We are never completely sure, and need to be constantly reassured by others of our true worth. We may look for approval and prove our competence to the people that matter in our lives and to ourselves. If praise is not forthcoming, we are dejected, if we receive the approval we are seeking, the victory is hollow since it feels like it had to be forcibly extracted. These energies affect us on every fronts -- personal relationships, friendships as well as in our work life. Use these powerful energies to your advantage -- since you may be looking at re-structuring a part of your life or your business goals. Overall be honest and true to yourself. Be confident of who you are and be proud of who you are and you will not feel threatened. Open yourself up to possibilities, and take steps to grow and improve yourself -- but don't overextend yourself during this period -- since you are bound to face frustrations. Do you understand what role these two powerhouse planets -- Jupiter and Saturn -- play in your life? A strong Jupiter, the planet of knowledge and wisdom, is an indicator of success as well as good luck and good fortune. A well-placed Saturn gives us our sense of discipline and duty and contributes equally to positive factors in our lives. everyone and admit the simple plain difference between the 2 parties? There is nothing more simple or true...Capitalism Rewards Success and Achievement and Punishes Failures and Moochers...Socialism Punishes Success and Achievement and Rewards Failures and Moochers...There is nothing else one needs to know to decide who you are...This IS the bottom line and the deciding factor, I don't care what embellishments are added...People will always side with themselves and others of their nice, this is human nature 101..,So tell me, who are Liberals and Democrats?
Please correct errors in this esssay if there is any!! Thesis: It’s true that being rejected or failed in doing something one has been strongly desired is discouraging, but because of that feeling of discouragement people can develop. I’m one of many people who changed the feeling of disappointment into that of achievement. Introduction- There is a saying “Failure is the mom of success.” When I have faced with the failure I could prove to myself that this saying is true.
